AKSHAY HAS A DATE WITH A DOLL

There’s something quite mysterious about the number 9, say astrologers and numerologists across the world.

Golden Globe Award winning director-producer Tim Burton of Batman Returns and Mars Attacks fame and Timur Bekmambetov (known for Wanted, Escape from Afghanistan), agree. So, to discover the mystery further, the duo got their energetic efforts together to launch a film called 9 and plan to release it on 09-09-09.

And, since Bollywood action superstar Akshay Kumar’s birthday falls on September 9, the film’s distributor has asked him to launch an online game based on 9.

The film is a computer-animated, dark and strange nightmare in which humanity is susceptible when awesome machines start to attack civilisation. A team of nine rag dolls, led by Doll No 9, which is mentally agile and aware, saves the future from disaster.
