Shekhar Kapur preferred to be India's Simon Cowell, other than couldn't be.....
When worldwide acclaimed film maker Shekhar Kapur agreed to judge the authenticity TV show "India's Got Talent", he hoped to be the Indian complement of American TV demonstrate judge Simon Cowell. But soon he revealed that he simply "couldn't be as unsympathetic".
"I had never deliberation about judging a TV realism show. But at what time this show was accessible to me, I thought it could be a chance for me to turn out to be India's Simon Cowell. I was energized, but on the subsequent day of the shoot itself my dream was devastated," Kapur told over phone from Mumbai.
While Cowell is recognized to be tremendously blunt and forthright in criticizing contestants on the show's "American Idol" and "Britain's Got Talent", Kapur realized he "couldn't be as harsh".
